Wet Flute Trio

Wet Flute Trio is an electroacoustic experimental trio formed in early 2024 in Reykjavík. Blending multicultural improvisation with texture-driven soundscapes, the trio features Tumi Árnason on saxophone and flutes, Stirnir Kjartansson on guitar, electronics, and flutes, and Lindy Lin on guitar, voice, electronics, and flutes. Together, they explore the wet and wild intersections of breath, string, and circuit.

Wet Flute Trio, featuring Stirnir, Lindy Lin, and Tumi Árnason as members of Skerpla, performed John Cage’s piece Niður between 40–45 minutes into the recording.
